What if I already took a pregnancy test at home?

Home pregnancy tests are reliable but you should still have your pregnancy confirmed. A positive test at home indicates that a certain level of pregnancy hormone is present      although it is not confirmation of a viable pregnancy. Approximately 10-25% of all known pregnancies naturally end in miscarriage.

Your decision is easy! The next step is to contact the center to make an appointment.

Could I have an STI (sexually transmitted infection)?

If you have had unprotected sex, you are at risk for sexually-transmitted infections. STIs often do not result in symptoms but can cause long term health problems. It is important that you get tested regularly and with every new partner.

Are walk-in appointments available?

For as long as COVID precautions are in place, appointments are necessary. However, same-day appointments are usually possible.

What do I need to bring with me for an appointment?

You will need to bring photo ID.

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

Yes. If you prefer to have someone accompany you, you are welcome to bring your partner, a friend or family member with you!
